Rose - like all our boats -, is located in a quiet 'boat village' on top location in the Center of Amsterdam.
Surrounded by boats, birds and friendly neighbours whilst on board, you only have to cross the street to be in the middle of it all: Nieuwmarkt, Dam, Red Light, China Town, cars, bikes, bars, shops, coffee-shops... Amsterdam!

Central Station : 4 minutes
Nieuwmarkt Square : 4 minutes
Red Light District : 4 minutes
Waterloo Flee market : 5 minutes
Museum of Science : 3 minutes
Dam Square : 5 minutes
Maritime Museum : 3 minutes        But...Why walk?  


T r a n s p o r t a t i o n
Bikes : The best way to get to know Amsterdam is on bike. You can rent them at our neighbours' next door.
Tram : Your second best option is to go by tram. Trams depart from Central Station (only 200m away).
Scooters : lt's also possible to rent motorbikes. 'Slow' scooters, are a good alternative, if you'd rather not ruin your haircut by a helmet.
Metro & Trains :  Leaving from the Central Station (only 200m away). The train from/to the airport (15 min) departs 4 times per hour.  See for details www.ns.nl
Taxi : In the Center, Taxi's will drive you the first 2km for 7€50. Riksha, bike-taxi and tuk-tuks are cheaper.If you are in a real nostalgic mood you can even rent a horse & carriage!
Car If you feel uncomfortable leaving your car all alone at home, no problem: private parking  in front of your boat  is possible too!
